- 2 cups Fresh Basil
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Pine Nuts
- 3 clove Garlic Peeled
- 4 tablespoons Romano or Parmesan Cheese Grated
- to taste
Blend oil, pine nuts, garlic and basil in a blender or food processor.
Put mixture in a bowl and add Romano or Parmesan Cheese.
Add salt and pepper to taste.
Toss with pasta and veggies “as is” or mix with cream to make a cream sauce with a light pesto flavor.
