Whole Wheat Pasta Primavera
This recipes is not for dieters. I usually serve it at intimate dinner parties.
Ingredients
- 16 oz box of Whole Wheat Rotini Pasta
- 14.5 oz can of Petite Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Onion diced
- 1 tbl. of Olive Oil Extra Virgin
- 1/2 Red Bell Pepper diced
- 1 Zucchini diced
- 1.5 cups of Broccoli Flowers
- 1/2 cup of Heavy Cream
- 1 Clove of Garlic
- 1/4 cup of Shredded 6 Cheese Italian Mix
- 1/4 cup of Fresh Mozzarella pearl type
- A small bunch of Fresh Basil chopped
- Black Pepper to taste.
Instructions
- Start to cook Pasta.
- In a separate large pan sauté onion & red bell pepper in oil until tender.
- Add Zucchini, Broccoli & Tomatoes. Add Basil & Black Pepper. Cover.
- Cook until the pasta is ready. About 8 minutes.
- Mix in the Heavy Cream. Heat for 1 minute while you're straining the pasta.
- Now mix the pasta in the large pan with the sauce and mix it all good.
- Add the shredded cheese & Mozzarella pearls & stir.
- You're ready to serve.
