Hummus is a very healthy dip to serve with raw vegetables. It’s also a great substitute for mayonnaise on a sandwich. This recipe is much better for you than what you buy at the store.
Easy Hummus
This is much healthier than mayonnaise or sour cream based dips.
Ingredients
- 1 can Chick Peas 14.5 oz. can
- 1/4 cup Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1/3 cup Sesame Tahini
- 2 cloves Garlic Peeled
- Optional: a dash of cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Add all ingredients to a food processor and blend.
- While blending add reserved chick pea liquid to make your hummus softer and creamier.
- Spicy option: add cayenne pepper (to your taste) to the processor at the very end.
